Our cottage is dog-friendly for up to 2 dogs with a non refundable pet fee. If you have a special request, please reach out to us. The door code is provided at check-in time on the day of arrival. Located on the beach side in the heart of Nags Head, the house is conveniently located close to surf shops, local restaurants, and grocery stores. Whether it is the beach, surfing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, excursions, or nightlife, you'll be in the center of it all. There are several popular beach accesses to choose from. The main beach accesses for this house are within a 4-minute walk. Also, Dowdy Park is at the end of the block. This park features 5 acres of recreation. It includes an amphitheater; basketball, pickleball, and bocce ball courts; a fitness trail, and an inclusive playground. There is also a walking/jogging/bike path near the ocean.

Guest Access

Guests at "Pipe Dreams" will have the entire house, which includes a ground level with a carport, picnic table, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill. This level also has a storage unit with all beach supplies (a beach cart, 8 chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler), plus 4 cruiser bikes for exploring. There is a full-size washer and dryer on this level as well. The house has a living space with a big-screen smart TV. YouTube TV is offered for watching live channels, and you can also access your own streaming services. The dining table has seating for 8. There are 4 bedrooms (one with a king bed, a second with a queen, and a third bedroom with bunk beds—full and twin, and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds). There is a full bath with a shower/tub in the hallway as well as a full bath with a shower/tub attached to the primary bedroom.

Now THIS is how an AirBnb should be done! I had nearly given up on AirBnb after multiple bad experiences - so many hosts seem to be offering less than great experiences in pursuit of more profit. I’ve stayed in numerous places that claim a fully stocked kitchen but don’t have enough dishes for the number of guests or short cut the cleaning. Travis’ place was exactly as shown in photos and exceeded our expectations in amenities. Major pluses included cleanliness, proximity to public beach access, and restaurants within close walking or biking distance. We enjoyed the beach cruiser bikes, the pet friendly policy, and I was able to make a special birthday dinner for my son using the grill and well stocked kitchen. This stay was well worth the price. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone traveling here!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was lovely, and clean, perfect for our family. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to make our many meals at home. It was great to have all the beach supplies we needed (not to mention the beach is only a short stroll away), and the bikes made for a fun excursion to the pier for sweet treats! The fenced backyard made it easy to let the kids and dogs play safely. There’s also a great park about a block away the kids and adults loved! Communication with Travis was easy, as was checking in and out. Highly recommend, and we are excited to go back!

Great get away location! 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants around, house if very nice and cozy, plenty of staff for cooking, great shampoo, I would buy it for myself at home )) loved it a lot!

This was an awesome stay for us! The house was perfect. Extremely clean, upgraded, and so many amenities- even down to the smallest details like extra outlets and power strips in bedrooms. Yard has an amazing fenced in back yard which is so nice if you have a dog, fire pit and back deck. 6 cruising bikes that are in excellent conduction, beach supplies like umbrellas, coolers, toys, kid boogie boards, and a very very helpful beach cart to help get supplies to the beach. One of the most ideal locations possible. Dowdy park is literally across the street and has a modern updated playground, wide open field, communities activities like a great farmers market. There is also a school also across the street with swings, soccer goals, etc. Beach access is easy. Hosts are very responsive and even provide info about community activities happening the next day.

Travis was a great host and communicator and the house was very well stocked. The house is a short walk to the beach and all the beach accessories that were provided made our life easier. The house is cozy but had plenty of space for two small families. We especially loved the outdoor shower, beach cart, on site laundry, and fire pit. We had no complaints and would stay again!

We loved our stay at this location. It’s so close to the beach— less than a 5 minute walk. We absolutely loved the bikes which we rode around pretty often around the town. Would definitely recommend! We will surely be back. Been the OBX and stayed at 3 locations so far— this is by far my favorite.
