Neighborhood

Located on the beach side in the heart of Nags Head, the house is conveniently located close to surf shops, local restaurants, and grocery stores. Whether it is the beach, surfing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, excursions, or nightlife, you'll be in the center of it all. There are several popular beach accesses to choose from. The main beach accesses for this house are within a 4-minute walk. Also, Dowdy Park is at the end of the block. This park features 5 acres of recreation. It includes an amphitheater; basketball, pickleball, and bocce ball courts; a fitness trail, and an inclusive playground. There is also a walking/jogging/bike path near the ocean.

Guest access

Guests will have the entire house, which includes a ground level with a carport, picnic table, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill. This level also has a storage unit with all beach supplies (a beach cart, 8 chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler), plus 4 cruiser bikes for exploring. There is a full-size washer and dryer on this level as well. The house has a living space with a big-screen smart TV. YouTube TV is offered for watching live channels, and you can also access your own streaming services. The dining table has seating for 8. There are 4 bedrooms (one with a king bed, a second with a queen, and a third bedroom with bunk beds—full and twin, and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds). There is a full bath with a shower/tub in the hallway as well as a full bath with a shower/tub attached to the primary bedroom.

Oh my gosh, I don’t know where to start! My family and I come to OBX every single opportunity that we have and we have been on a quest to find the perfect home for our family. By perfect I mean a house that is clean and exactly as described upon arrival, had ALL towels and linens proved (so nice), had a full and stocked kitchen, decor to die for and a very responsive host! In addition tot he home itself, the walk to the beach access is only a few minutes, Dowdy Park is in the front yard practically, two coffee shops that are also walkable in addition to a food lion, and Pizazz pizza. I mean you really never even have to get in the car if you don’t want to. Thank you Travis for a perfect holiday getaway for our family! We look forward to coming back!

Great beach cottage! The decor alone makes you feel at peace and the place is beautifully appointed. Amazing location! There’s a basketball court just a block away that my kids loved as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

The beach is a short walk away; a beach cart and beach gear are provided. You can make use of the 4 beach cruisers provided too. The beach accesses also have car parking should you wish to drive.
