You'll also be in the heart of Nags Head shopping, restaurants, and activities with a great local coffee and surf shop at the end of the block. Relax and sip your morning coffee on the front deck rocking chairs, or gather around the fire pit in the evenings. This remodeled house has a fenced yard and lives well indoors and out. Beach gear and bikes are provided.

We offer a convenient check-in for guests with a keyless entry system. The kitchen is set up for cooking at home on those nights you just want to chill at the cottage. It is equipped with pots and pans, a variety of cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, baking dishes, a toaster, a blender, and a Keurig and regular coffee makers. There is a BBQ grill, and some great fish markets nearby. The backyard, ground level, and upper deck are fenced and gated, so you can let your dog right out of the house to explore.

The house can accommodate up to 2 dogs with a $125 non refundable pet fee. If you have a special request, please reach out to us. The door code is provided at the check-in time on the day of arrival. We provide linens (sheets and bath and beach towels). A booster seat and a pack ‘n play are also available. This is a dog friendly house. We allow one dog per reservation. There is an additional pet fee of $100. The fee will be collected through the Airbnb app on the day of check-in.

Neighborhood

Truly in the heart of Nags Head, the house is conveniently located close to shops, local restaurants, and grocery stores. Whether it is the beach, surfing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, excursions, or nightlife, you'll be in the center of it all. There are several popular beach accesses to choose from, all within a short walk. The main beach access for this house is a 2- to 3-minute walk. Also, Dowdy Park is about 5 blocks away. This park features 5 acres of recreation. It includes an amphitheater, a fitness trail, and an inclusive playground.

Guest access

Guests will have the entire house, which includes a ground level with a carport, swings, chairs, picnic table, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and firepit. This level also has a storage unit with all beach supplies (a beach cart, 6 chairs, umbrellas, cooler) plus cruiser bikes for exploring. There is a full-size washer and dryer located in the downstairs storage unit. The house has a living space with a big-screen smart TV. YouTube TV is offered for watching live channels, and you can also access your own streaming services too. The kitchen has bar stools around the counter and a kitchen table with seating for 6. There are 3 bedrooms (1 with a king bed, a second with a queen, and a third bedroom with bunk beds: full and twin). The queen bedroom and bunk room have TVs that use Roku sticks. There is a full bath with a shower/tub in the hallway as well as a full bath with shower attached to the primary bedroom.

We had a great stay at Scott's place. They were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had and communicated well. Everything was renovated and like new in house - absolutely beautiful updates! They really thought out things that were very helpful from the ziplock bags and aluminum foil to muffin tins and cooking spray for my muffins. 🙂 We were able to use the grill for steaks, do a firepit with smores, enjoy staying at the house, while also enjoying the convenient location and doing things outside the home. Coffee shop literally 1 minute walk around corner from house! I highly recommend Scott's home or any other properties he has! I'm sure we will be back! 💗

This home was a perfect retreat for us! Ended up being 3 of us and our dog which left us with ample space. Could have easily held more guests as well. The home was impeccably clean and really nicely decorated. Still felt like a beach home while being a bit more elevated. The backyard being fenced in was a huge plus for us with the dog. And they thought of everything as it pertains to the access points and gates to/from the yard. Great fire pit and front porch. Can’t beat the location either with easy access to the beach and main roads. It was also incredibly helpful that the basics were all already in the house! I am not exaggerating when I said probably 10 times, “wow, they really thought of everything here”. Lastly, Scott and Travis were super responsive and sent friendly reminders regarding trash/recycling days. Highly recommend this home and we plan to either be back, or visit any of their other listings. Thank you very much for a great vacation!
